Sarah VonKain was born in Texas not so long ago. From a very young age she felt the desire to create with her hands. She took a few art classes while growing up at a local business in her small town. High school education was above adequate, but still lacked any formal art training. Yet still she desired to create and make art. She was accepted at Lamar University in Beaumont, Tx and attended the fall after graduation on various academic scholarships. For her university confirmed that this was indeed what she was meant to do and to do anything besides make art would be to deny her hearts desire. While in University she married her artistic equal, a musician. They soon decided to take their art and travel around as an artistic duo, seeing the world and spreading their art.

Sarah works in various mediums, but if asked she is a painter. There is a definite boldness and pleasant oddity to her works. Her desire is for the each viewer to look at her art and have their own personal interpretation and experience.

She recently has finished her latest series of oil and watercolor paintings entitled “Gomorrah” and currently is working on her yet to be titled next series of works witch she plans to release within the next year.
